Some things in nature resonate so deeply,they can make me tremble. When I create art,I want to get to the tremble.Trees and cliffs and slot canyons and torsos and bones: they all speak the same language. An underlying harmony defines them. When we see this in a sculpture there is asubliminal recognitionwhich lifts us.I want my artwork to envoke these core feelingof recognition. |
