What are aquatint etchings?
There is no aquatint machine. Each individual etching is painstakingly made using a complex process. This site is devoted to showing the process of making two etchings: Sbado de Gloria and San Teodoro. How long does it take to make one?
It requires 3 master printers and an apprentice eight hours to ink five plates and print six aquatint etchings. Who is el seor?
